Report: Cesspools Polluting Long Island Waterways - An environmental group said cesspools in Long Island's Suffolk County were releasing high levels of nitrogen into the area's waterways. A report by Peconic Baykeeper said the nitrogen was harming fish life and causing algae blooms and invasive weeds.
